Man, I hear that. Of course, I know the awesome Becker scales, but this blade is something else.

There are laser etched 5's out there. Someone posted a pic somewhere. I went the opposite direction and made full size style scales for the 15

I'm wanting to pull the trigger on either, another 15 or a 5.

The 5 just looks big, as does the 4 in pictures.
The 4 was surprisingly small once in hand. I suspect this may be the case with the 5.
Warrior had a similar opinion IIRC of the 4.
Please verify for me that the 5 is not as big as it might look.

if i could only afford 1 of the 2, i would take the 5, it is big when compared to say your typical chef's knife, but it is a great size for what it can do, i wouldnt pick it as a primary chopper or battoner (though it could) but for any slicing work its awesome!

Yeah. Since I do have a 15. Might have to grab up a 5 before its too late. It can always keep my spare 4 company it i don't care for it.

good choice - i really wish there was a way to see how much inventory is left of the 4,5, and 15 - even though i just bought one of each this month i want another set of the three lol
