• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

New trail, survival food and wet dogs !!!!

Back in the day, a couple of my friends used to carry milkbones as their emergency food. They figured that they wouldn't just eat them as a snack, so they would be available if they really got stuck somewhere.

Better than eating banana slugs, I'm sure! :D

Hahah, funny story.

Yeah, great pictures like usual! So how do you decide what knife to carry with you?

we'll have to work on that one Pit!;)
When's yer new chopper coming?

A titanium spork indeed!:D

Hey PD,
Gotta love the wet dog in the car at the END of the walk, hope you've got a truck, I used to hate the families Lab getting in the car wet, and excited 'cause she's in the car.

hmmmm wet dog smell, I don't miss it.

Very nice pics. Looks like you had a good time. Thanks for sharing.

Regards,

Jos

Dude, your dog is so cool.

If you guys only knew what those things were made of. I work in a bulk animal food plant, with a pet food division.

Just dont eat them, ok?

Can't be any worse than hotdogs. At least they don't taste worse. Besides a little sawdust, crushed bone and rat leavings never hurt anyone.

Er, wait. . .

Great pics man!

You know, the last fatwood I got was up in the high desert by Spences Bridge, pried it out of an old Ponderosa Pine stump. The stump was dry and hard as hell, so it was a hard bit of work, but I did it...

With a mora!!!
