Dang, if they even remade every knife in almost any catalog before even 2010 or so, i would be broke.Missed out on the 212. Pretty butthurt. Had one in the cart with the intention of customizing. Got distracted. Fell asleep early. All gone when I woke up... even called buck to see if there were any extra laying around. Rep assured me they were "long gone."yikes. I guess the price was right on that one. They should go back to making all their classic knives. I believe there us enough demand...
Should have said fixed 100 series.Dang, if they even remade every knife in almost any catalog before even 2010 or so, i would be broke.
Now that you mention it, the springs have no snap at all. I can't even fold it closed to stick in my pocket! It looks snappy but how snappy are the springs, really?![]()

Btw, that 505 you have for sale is sweet. But I made a decision not to collect 500 series except for 531,532,and 535.Buck elves must be working hard today.

Not to rub salt on your wounds, but that 110 is nice. So light. Handsome looking. Good steel and sharp. But there will always be others coming up, don't fret too much.Really regretting dismissing the 110 so quickly. For some reason, the stock pictures didn't look that appealing to me. Wood inlays, grey aluminum, black hardware, it just didn't look like it went together well.
But seeing the few pictures posted by people who got them, I wish that I would have. I hope all who got them enjoy them!
It is weird that the "fancy" ones are easier to find. Maybe people didn't use those but they did use the more plain ones. Also, I don't think they made many of the plainer ones that I am missing. I just recently found the cocobolo brass, so I am happy about that.I've been looking for the C&C exclusive cocobolo and brass 212 for a few years.
I have a number of the others. Just trying to complete the brass and cocobolo collection .
Looks great! I like the color variation in those handles. My 110 came in Sunday via FedEx, which was a surprise. Great fit and finish.
