It's gonna be a Golden New Year for me!

New Year's Eve will be like any other time in that I'll have about a dozen knives about my person. But I may go "off my rotation schedule" a bit and carry these recent gifts from daughter (for birthday) and wife (for Christmas):

The stag on they Toledo is gorgeous, that's definitely something I'd make sure to have in my pocket on new year's Eve.

Just back from the “kids firework” (9pm).. I had victorinox huntsman II and spydie DK in my pocket.

Moved one post to "Traditional and Modern pairings".
Edited the thread title to include Traditional.

.....shall be carrying two

Nº2, if folk don't mind me showing, is this double-detent slippie of more contemporary design - just in case I get a one-hand-opening situation...

Good idea Gary, I tend to 'assume' too much.
Not a problem, Alan. Sometimes I think folks come in from the "New Posts" page and don't notice the sub forum they are in.

Debating between sophisticated elegance and party time. View attachment 821029Since I'll be with the in-laws most of the night, I'm leaning heavily towards one at the moment...
You'll probably have at least two pockets, I say take 'em both :D:thumbsup:

I thought I saw someone's signature line that read "So many knives, so few pockets..." :)

Happy New Year everyone
