New Year's Eve Traditional Carry

I ended up going with a larger modern knive paired with a peanut in my watch pocket for the night.
Happy New Year everyone!

Current pairing. Weather is dreary, picture is dreary, everyone in the family is either sick, dreary, or both.

Will probably switch up soon. Hopefully, the Saints can lift my spirits a bit. Might need a bit of black and gold in the pockets.

I'm thinking I'll break out the fancy stuff for midnight- if I'm awake.
T-Minus 20 minutes for our (Western) European friends! Happy New Year from my Wostenholm French Ivory Pen Knife and A. Wright & Sons Horn Lambfoot. Be sure to Oil The Joints in 2018!

I've gone sentimental for my Welcoming of 2018.

My grandfather's Craftsman 9473 Stockman
My father's Klein lockback
(What will be) My daughter's Case Peanut

Adios, 2017.
Happy New Year, Shawn!!:cool::thumbsup: It was cool to see your progression of knives over the course of the afternoon and evening! Your sentimental choices for midnight seem exemplary (and not at all dreary :D). I hope the sickness leaves your house ASAP!:)

For the big mission to the grocery store to pick up a whole roasted chicken for me and the Boots and then I'll switch to a Mark Job Custom Barlow

My trusty yellow Case Peanut as usual. It’s been my EDC 90% of the days since I got it nearly 4 years ago.

Great to see you here again, Jeff!!:thumbsup::) And I just noticed that this is your 6th anniversary of joining BF; congrats!!:cool:;)
Do you have any recent pics of your Peanut? I'd enjoy seeing what it looks like these days. (Do you still have that African Blackwood Barlow, sheepfoot I think? I don't remember if that was a TC or a Northfield 77, but I remember I was always impressed with your dedication/commitment to the few knives you carried. I'm getting all "Auld Lang Syne" here on New Year's Day! :p)

Went to a live comedy show at a local theatre with my wife and three other couples. Carried my single blade GEC 78 Elderberry. It will now carry fond memories of a fun night with lots of laughs. I just love the 78 frame.

Hey! Yes I’ve not been on the Forum as often lately, but have peeked in now and then. I’ve missed it and am enjoying reading these threads again.

The 77 Barlow is still at the top of my carry list right alongside the Peanut.

I’ve not yet figured out how to post pics since the Photobucket change, but am working on it - will post soon!

Very cool! :thumbsup::):thumbsup:
If your photos are saved on your computer (or phone, I assume), posting them with the "Upload a File" button (next to the "Post Reply" button) seems really simple. (But a paid membership might be required to use it, and some folks (not me, though) have mentioned having to resize their pic files to make them small enough to upload that way.)
