New years resolution thread knives edition

This lasted exactly one day. One day of internal resistance and then capitulation to a sweet deal on a Jääkäripuukko. Oh, well. I also gave up drinking alcohol on weeknights. That has been more successful....waiting for the weekend!
As I sip(drink) a fosters, let me tell ya. Authentic puukos are some of the hardest workers I've had the privilege of using. Ahti is one of my favorite companies.

Aside from that. I want 2026 to be a knife using year, I want to use them all with reckless abandon. I cant bring them with me, and there aint no point having so many I can be buried underneath them all, so what I have now i want to get 'em all good n broke(not really)--- but give them an ugly Betty makeover before long

OK I'm done for a while..... Been.on A drunken sailor type splurge....😜........
Still got 2 in the mail.due yet though..😉

You and me both, two CKFs due, an Elishewitz, and some pens 😂 oh and a laconico design 😂

I don't generally do resolutions, because I know myself well enough at this stage in life that that way lies certain disappointment. However, I do have a lot going on this year in my personal and professional life that will see me spending money elsewhere, in addition to other hobbies that I've somewhat neglected the past couple of years, so I don't think I'll buy as many knives as I have in the past few years.

I am admittedly feeling some minor fatigue, I think. This Christmas season really brought home how endless the race is, where seemingly every knife maker/manufacturer/knife retailer was seemingly dropping a new model, a new variant, an SFO, like every day. You're trying to get gifts sorted for everyone, and SMKW over here trying to bleed you dry! LOL At some point, there's no joy in trying to buy everything, and it comes time to get off the merry-go-round.

Back on topic 😃: I don't make New Years resolutions. Unfortunate changes in employment have ended the fun run in any event.
