New Years Resolution. . . . What is yours?

Get back on my weight loss plan.
I was doing pretty well in 2014.......lost 35 lbs ....... Had an injury right before blade that required surgery....and have gradually found 25 lbs.

Not buying any more knives on Amazon (just got a BK16 and just ordered a Spyderco Bushcraft!) too affordable and quick to get here! New years resolution is to get off internet shopping for the most part.

I think I found a few of the pounds you lost as well. Gonna see if I cant lose them again.

You won't have to fight me for all of them, Magnus. As I get more ASH1's, the less "holes" in my collection. I never repeat blade colors, or handle material/color. Andy? I don't know. Have a Happy New Year!...;-)

To return to bladeforum and keep up with all the Busse Combat people that I enjoy so much!! Happy New Years to everyone!! 2015 will be a great year for Busse I feel! Cheers to uall! Jerry, Dan, Garth, Beef, Pokey, Lexi and all the others I did not mention! BLADE is a comin!!

The past few years I've set the bar what I consider high for myself as far as New Years resultions go. In no particular order, buying a house, getting married, having a child, getting my motorcycle license etc. I've been fighting off the urge to buy my first Crk, with twins on the way (2 Girls) as much as I want to pull the trigger on a Sebenza I know it's not the right time, so in 2015 I will try and keep away from a Crk, and basically just de clutter, organize and live a simpler and healthier life.

I plan to continue to keep the Earth in a balanced spin while we hurtle around the sun at a million miles an hour by maintaining the ballast of INFI steel in the southern hemisphere.

You stand corrected, sir. There is only one handle color. I've got a long year of educating ahead, I see.

Ain't that the truth? Not coming soon enough, though. I guess my bourbon bleu venison burgers with a side of bourbon will get me by for tonite.

I'm going to try to buy fewer Busse knives.....I predict failure in the first month. :D

I am already losing weight and getting my health on track. I work for those less fortunate everyday, and work far out of my class. What I would resolve myself to do is spend more quality time with my loved ones.

I need to lose 10 - 15 pounds and I'm going to cut out alcohol and cut way back on carbs. I also dusted off the treadmill and the free weights so we'll see how that goes.

I have resolved to buy at least one firearm a month this year with ammo and a few accessories to go with it and to teach at least one friend or family member to shoot and bring them hunting.

I also live by the hunting motto 'don't shoot it if you aren't going to eat it.' (Ask the nephews I caught shooting BB guns at frogs in the little vernal pool last year how frog tastes.) The exception is unless it's eating or trying to eat something that belongs to you. Like your cat. Or your chickens. Not your garden.

Why buy a gun a month? I am so sick of Shannon Watts and the Moms Demand Action BSC crowd that I could scream, so I've resolved to do this instead.

I will buy one knife each month in 2015. I would rather buy a knife than a new pair of shoes or an article of clothing any day. I was also the little girl who wanted the GI Joe and the BB gun for Christmas and not the prissy Barbies and Barbie clothes my sisters wanted. I was a real tomboy growing up. (Am I a lesbian? No. I like men waaay too much to even consider certain things with a woman. Yeah, probably TMI. Oh well.)

I will try to let go of pain from a devastating loss in the recent past and move on with my life. I'm still not sure how, but I've got to work on it.

I will make an effort to tell the people I love that I love them. I don't think anyone has ever regretted telling someone they love too many times that they love them. Plenty of people regret not telling loved ones 'I love you' enough while they still had the chance.

I will spend more time with elderly relatives and bring my nieces and nephews mushrooming in the woods with me and teach them which ones are edible as my old Italian grandmother did with me. NOTHING tastes as good as a summer evening grilled steak smothered with wild mushrooms in a light garlic-butter sauce.

I will plant a bigger garden this year and add some pullets to the flock of chickens so I can donate produce to the local food shelf and give away eggs and produce at church on Sundays as I've done in the past.

I will strive to become more self sufficient and can and freeze more produce and hopefully venison this year.

I will ride my motorcycle as much as I can this year.

I will not eat anything with high fructose corn syrup in it. Yech.

Oh, and I won't eat vegetables because they're gross.

I guess that covers it. I'm looking forward to more INFI this year!
