I just wanted to share it with everyone else, who I know most are all for a great zombie flick, that a brand new zombie series starts on 10/31 at 10PM on AMC, The Walking Dead. I've seen several previews on TV and on AMC's site and it looks like one hell of a wicked show that's set in Atlanta. From what I can gather it sort of takes on the 28 days / weeks idea but builds much more upon it and being there's one new show a week they'll have plenty of time to build into a decent plot. Finally, zombies have made the prime time!!! Everyone set their DVR's!

Jeff / Mike - Any possibility of some ESEE sightings in this show at all?!:D
 
I have been waiting for this one to finally come out, the DVR was set a week ago.

I have heard confirmed reports of Scrap Yard Knives making an appearance, and in one of the stills I think I made out a Busse Team Gemini.

I read 1-76 all at once, so it is a lot easier to stick with the story arc. The time in the prison went by quickly

I saw a 4 to 5 minute preview on ITunes. It looks like it's done really well. I've been looking forward to this one for a while.
 
i've been caught up on the comic as the trade paperbacks have been coming out. I'm looking forward to watching the show.
 
It may be set in Atlanta now - but originally, in the beginning of the story, it's set right up the road from me in Cynthiana, Kentucky!
 
AMC isn't part of my DISH package-any internet way to see this after it starts up ? Thanks.
 
Great comic series. My cousin let me read the hardbacks which went up to #76 or so. Pretty good so far. I can't wait for the series if it stays true to the series.
 
just got finished reading the hardcover books 1-4 and i'm lovin the comics. can't wait for the amc series to start!
 
My favorite storyline of all time. I love the Walking Dead like some folks love Star Wars.

Can't wait!....
 
Is the Pilot Episode available to watch somewhere? I figured it was only coming out on Sunday.
