JMO,but I was afraid the thread was degenerating into a discussion of those (most decidedly: lesser) knives with tiny butterflies,or other insects,with a hole in the blade.....and mostly made in a shoe factory called Taiwan....:rolleyes:

Screw that. I can pre-order with the best of them, and I'll actually enjoy the wait. :D
One of these days, before I get too old, I'm going to initiate the 5-year wait on a Randall.
I'm on a 16-month wait for a Dozier right now and loving every minute of it. :p

So, black or brown? Who's got preferences?

I wish they offered it in tan or red.

But I went black.
 
This thread is so win. I can't remember being this excited over a production folder!

Just throwing out a couple of questions for anybody in the know:

1. Do we know what the material on the standoffs and clip are?

2. How durable is the markings on the blade (i.e., inked or etched?) because I tend to really use my edc's and wonder how long it will take them to fade.

The proper answer for this forum is at least one of each.

The blade markings are generally laser etched. The don't come off easily, but if you take off enough metal they will go.
 
Right now I'm just up for the black because I really want to get a 0777 too. Don't know if I'll want to pay up on all three if they're released at the same time. I'm hoping Rick will have additional colors ready to go around release time, so I can always match my ascot!
