New ZT/Hinderer Flipper is Coming!!!0560/0561

I'm rather late to the ZT party, just received my first ZT couple weeks ago in the 0551 (love it!) and I'm wondering if anyone here has any idea of when the 0561 will be available? Ballpark?

Start reading backwards a couple of pages - late 2011 believe.
 
Thanks, I was jumping around different pages looking for a ship date. I have my name on one of the pre-order lists for it. I was VERY surprised how much knife you get for your money with the 0551 (compared to a few of my $400 knives) so they have me hooked now.

Yeah...my thoughts exactly.

I wouldn't mind having a 0551 but I'm not going to get bent over in the process. I have a 0550 on order; I can wait a little while longer.

Then before we know it...the flippers will be here!!
 
A few 551's went for $200 shipped on the exchange today... keep your eyes peeled and you can find them.
 
Ya know it just occurred to me Alphahunter - this thing's blade is darn near the length of an XM-24. Have you handled a 24 or or own one by chance? How would you compare it. The knife's bigger than an XM-18 3.5" flipper. Just wondered about all that. :)

I personally don't think they are all that much like the XM-24. The 560/561 doesn't feel like the XM, it may have a blade length between the XM-18 and the XM-24, but it feels like neither. It is light, it weighs about the same as the XM-18, feels thinner (maybe due to the rounded scale and titanium lockside). Despite the collaboration, I consider it a different knife than the XM. I still have the 560 and 561 on order, but it isn't an XM.

Sorry it took so long to respond. It has a lot of the XM looks and is in the middle as far as size of the XM 18 3.5 and XM24 but it is a different knife. It has a lot of custom high end features and for the money you can't go wrong. It's smooth and light and well built. It will make for a great EDC. I can't wait to get mine ;) The two I handled were great! Along with the 0777.
