Wow. I thought ebay was bad. If it sells I think I'll list a couple over there.

Amazon charges 20% commission last time they contacted me to list products. There has to be a mark-up. Better to pick one up on the exchange when they become available. :)

Sorry it took so long to respond. It has a lot of the XM looks and is in the middle as far as size of the XM 18 3.5 and XM24 but it is a different knife. It has a lot of custom high end features and for the money you can't go wrong. It's smooth and light and well built. It will make for a great EDC. I can't wait to get mine ;) The two I handled were great! Along with the 0777.

I'm grinding my teeth waiting too. I guess Thomas is not going to rush this out to market to please us and end up with problems, like the ZT0551 which I much prefer.

Just found out about this knife a couple days ago and literally couldn't get to sleep thinking about it. I just put my wife through law school and so haven't bought a new knife in over 4 years. This will be the next. I came really close to buying a couple different ZT models but sooo glad I waited.

Only one thing worrying me now - pivot strength. I have no experience with this bearing pivot - how's it stack up for strength? I expect it can't be quite as robust as the 0300 series right...?

Someone just please tell me not to worry about it. Pretty please?

Don't worry about it. It's a brute. The bearings don't need lubricant. No blade movement whatsoever. :)

Thanks Knivesandguns!

I can't get over the feeling that this really might be The Best production folder currently being offered. By anybody. Am I wrong?

Let me also say that I understand that everyone has different tastes and to some The Best is the SAK Cadet their Father gave them blah blah blah. (I tend to piss people off when I post - no idea why...)

Just look in the Yellow Pages (big yellow book) under Mental Health Clinic. I'm sure there's one near you!

That's the beauty of BF. There's always someone out there with helpful advice!

Yep, you're wrong. The Hinderer XM series is still top dog. (XM-18 in 3" & 3.5" blade, and the XM-24 with a whopping 6" blade). Th 0651 has some new techno advances not found on the XM's (i.e. KVT washer) but it is still second to the XM (albeit a very, very close second and at half the price). When the ZT 0777 comes out, that may be a serious challenger.

Hey man - just yanking yer chain. I'll be there too. :D Don't worry about the pivot strength this is a Zero Tolerance "top of the line" production knife. I'm sure the Chris Reeve & Hinderer fans might take issue to it being called the best production folder available but you just may be right! ;)

No worries CZIV. I always think of Hinderer and CR as semi-custom I guess. I'm just so happy with the way ZT put this one together. To me it's in a class by itself - especially taking price into account.
