So prior release dates don't count anymore? I thought this was a first week of January release? I mean this in a respectful tone.

I may be wrong but my understanding is that the 560/561 are production models. If that's correct then, based on the 0550's plentiful supply, it shouldn't be difficult to get one shortly after initial preorders are filled.

Thomas posted that the last shipping day at Kershaw was 12/22/11. He then stated they would start shipping again on 1/3/12 and that the 0561 should be ready about then. The 1/3 date was not specific to the ship date of this knife but to regular shipping of Kershaw products and I think that's where folks are getting confused.
 
Can't wait for this knife to come out! it seems like what you get for your money is amazing. However, being skeptical of anything till I see a handful of reviews, I'll wait.
 
It will get here when it gets here...no big hurry for me. I just keep looking at the pics to keep my nerves calm.

Every time my son looks at my computer he says he wants a knife like that (0560 is my current wallpaper). I told him maybe when he gets older, and not until after I get mine!

Look we can't have it both ways. The 0560/61 are new models. We've mentioned release dates in many prior threads. We see now this was a mistake.

Let's all take another look at post #142 in this thread.

Yes agreed! Take your time and give us the ZT quality we are used to getting Thomas. What's a couple days or weeks right? No big deal - I can wait. ;)
 
hmmmmm....which one of my other 50 or so knives do I play with until it shows up? LOL! No hurries...No worries.

Thomas, all I got to say is...Thank you for the 0550!!! Getting it a couple of days before Christmas definitely has filled my holiday ZT "fix". Now I can patiently wait for another masterpiece to arrive at my doorstep.
