Alphahunter, have you ever handled (owned) a ZT 0300 series SAO folder? If you have, who
would you rate this new offering against it for hard use work. In fact, does anyone know if this ZT (ZT 056/0561) really fits into the hard use category "big rugged folder that can take some abuse??"
I've owned a ZT 0301 and it's definitely a beast. I'd like to know how this one will compare for prying, light chopping etc. (emergency shelter building - that sort of thing).
Hey buddy. The 560/561 is very different from the 300 series. The 300 is heavy and feels like a tank. The 560/561 is lighter and has a different feel. The 300 is a Sherman Tank and the 560/561 is a F/18 Fighter Jet. Both can do serious damage but delivers in a different form.
Hope this helps.
"Soon, yes very soon we are going to see the "Z".hallelujah, hallelujah, were going to see the "Z"
Sweet dreams are made of this. Who am I to disagree?
DAMMM!
I have a serious lack of patience.
And this pre-order crap is triggering a frustration between road rage and standing in the line at the bank.
I spoke with Kershaw/ZT last thursday (12/22/11) and the lady I spoke with in C/S stated that the 0550 was the priority and late January was a more realistic goal for the 0560/61 line of knives. I told her that I was hanging my hopes in finding one under my Christmas tree...she was sorry...but dashed my hopes anyways...
