New ZT/Hinderer Flipper is Coming!!!0560/0561

3.5 inch, s35vn, combo edge, spanto. Though you could use 440a and I'd still be jonesing for one.
 
I've heard of marketing 101, but this is torture 101. IE: This should be used against all enemies of the USA, not us knife nuts!

My interest is piqued! :cool: I wonder if it's on the same frame pattern as the 0550/0551 or if it's a whole new beast? :confused: ZT/Hinderer collaborations are gonna take the folding knife industry by storm! :thumbup:
 
I'm sure I'm like many others here in that as long as Rick designs it and Kershaw builds it, I'll buy at least one! I'm waiting on my second zt551 to be delivered today lol
 
Thomas, On a side note are you guys doing anything else in the CPM-110V? That would be nice on this project as well.....

I can't wait but I'm still waiting on my pre ordered 0551 to arrive (5 weeks now :( )

RevDevil, how's the edge geometry on the 0551? It looks a little thick, like it would be a bad slicer.

I'm long overdue on getting a ZT, just can't decide whether I should go for a 0200, 055x, or wait for this new one.
 
Just received my 0551 earlier today. Beautiful, although it's a little hard to open using stud, and not perfectly centered...

But, if it had a flipper, I think it would be the perfect ZT! Which is why I can't wait for the hinderer/ZT flipper.

It is thick, but it is not bad. I was using it to slice cardboard, ended up cutting around 75 meters or more. The blade was really just slicing through without binding up. It's a well executed balanced cutter. :thumbup:
 
Thank you Sir. To say it is a fine cutting instrument would be an understatment. Beefy knives are terrific.
