All black; now I hadn't thought about that. That could very interesting. I wonder how many different variations there will be?

For those of us that just jumped on the bandwagon for this knife, can someone provide a brief overview of the 53 pages of posts so I dont have to read them all please? I know most of this is going to be speculation but I'm still interested.

theres a new hinderer/ZT collab and it's a FLIPPER! what we know is the lock side is 3D machined titanium and the other side is 3D machined G10. we don't know what steel for the blade yet but I'm sure thomas will tell us any day:D

This makes me somewhat anxious....will need a dollarstretcher....

.....already asked Santakershawguy to help me find a brown G10 & a black G-10; the two choices that were pictured earlier....

....a (third) all-black version would likely mean a return to sleeping alone....and not here @ my current domicile....

....as much as I love choices,I must reason with Thomas W and Rick Hinderer et al: please be gentle & kind.

I hate to say that an aesthetic value on a tool is one of my favorite parts, but I can still be mesmerized by the handle texture of the ZT 0200. Hopefully this one will be similar.
The best part is when an awesome aesthetic design is mated with supreme utility. This knife is beautiful in design, looks, and function.
Especially if you give it the right steel. Please sir, may we have some super alloy?

Honestly, I'm a little disappointed in all of you guys. For all the jaw dropping, eye popping, pants wetting, and drool pooling over the past two days no one even notices or mentions the KVT washer in this picture in the upper left below the blue tube. I bet they were using that one for fitting purposes. heh.... heh.... heh....
 
The all black idea came from me liking less obvious black knives (I guess you could say stealth), and we were teased with a limited all black 0551, that so far, hasn't surfaced. :(

M4 would be fantastic, 1095 just wouldn't fit with such a high end production knife same with 154cm. I would also love to see it in s90v or s110v

Sorry but even with a knife this awesome that would be a deal breaker for me.
 
This thing is setting new standards for a production blade! Even for the customs! This is amazing and they aint holding back!!!!

Now that we can agree on! I'm still holding out hope for a plain (IE, non textured), stonewashed non flipper. . . :)
 
How did i miss the pics of that lock side!! That thing is sick. I can't wait for this knife. I'll absolutely need multiples.
