Only Rob or Rick at Hinderer knives could truly say, but I wouldn't count on it. My understanding is Rick is the designer, not the manufacturer, so Kai will likely use their normal distribution channels when the time comes. For instance, I took my 0551 to Rick for his inspection shortly after I bought it, it was the first production 0551 he had seen (he had only seen prototypes at that point) and he didn't stock/sell that model as far as I know.

But your descriptor nearly caused me to bust a panel of ribs and to aspirate some Peppered Venison Soup!

Hey - No more under the table talk! Obviously you guys are getting promises of one as soon as they come out, which I find objectionable and HIGHLY unethical!! There's others that have to wait for the dealers to put them up for sale.
