Without reading through 91+ pages, can anyone tell me if this knife features teflon washers like an XM-18? I'm just wondering if this knife will be as smooth opening as an XM?

I don't believe there has been a mention of washers from Thomas or Rick, but I assume that they will be Phosphor Bronze washers.

I don't know why Rick uses them but the XM is the only folder I have with them.

They say if you polish the PB washers and place a drop of something like Slick 50, Miltec-1, Latama Quick Release (substitute your favorite lube) and you should be golden.

Now you've got me wondering - just when I'd got this darn knife ot of my mind for awhile.

Yeah they have Big Foot, black panthers, black bear, etc. probably have Elk there too. Kentucky is a pretty gnarly state like that.

And I actually like the glass breaker... gives a nice pummel if need be, and well if you need to break glass.... its there lol, i mean granted its a bit uncomfortable/not likely for you to be able to use it reverse grip if its there though
