rawr was put on the pre-order list without even knowing whats the diff between the zt 0550 and the 0551 lol

And I actually like the glass breaker... gives a nice pummel if need be, and well if you need to break glass.... its there lol, i mean granted its a bit uncomfortable/not likely for you to be able to use it reverse grip if its there though
Say what? I thought there wasn't a glass breaker.

Sorry my info was old info then my apologies. I did read through about 15 or so pages X.X couldn't read through all 90

new goal now- pass the edc thread, only about 70k views to go, and with the zt 551 not out yet and the zt 550 still ahead of us, i think it can be done:)

this page does have a higher comment to view ratio though

I've bee away for a few days, no internet for 28 days...

any news on the delivery of 0551 or 0550? just to see to find the cash

Im sure this will beat the edc thread. Especially once these ship and everyone gets theres and wants to show them in action

OK I dont want to read the whole 90 pages, can someone give me the cliff notes please - what is the big deal about this knife?

The most in-demand custom knife maker collaborated with a reliable knife manufacturer(who literally has no complaints regarding QC, fit and finish, and customer service) to bring to everyone, for all intents and purposes, a mass produced version of his most popular knife(search around for XM-18).

For the price, I'd consider it well worth buying. I did gripe about the outdated(to me) S30V and 154CM in a lot of the ZT line, and having Vanax35 and Elmax available is a welcome upgrade. It looks somewhat similar in size and shape to the ZT 0300 series, but there are a lot of subtle differences that make them both unique and perform differently.

Custom collaborations have always seemed to be pretty good for me(BM 755 Sibert, Spyderco Gayle Bradley), and I've always drooled for an XM-18, but the price tag put me off. Given that the price of this new knife is more or less the same as a ZT 0300 series, I see no reason not to go for this one.

Close but its actually designed after this one http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=775521

Also a little correction on size, It will be about the size of a 0350 with a blade as thick as a 0300 and a lock thickness thats off the charts

Other than that
