Newer Emerson's fit and finish

As a fellow Emerson owner and collector, I don't have any issues with F&F with my knives. Maybe I'm biased, or maybe I just don't notice super minute details like that, but I just don't see what some people fuss about. My knives are for use, save my karambits of course.
 
Carbonization of the liner lock helps with longevity as the steel used is very soft.
