I'd guess about a pound and a half;it is significantly lighter than my pet Colt 1861 Navy,which is 2.5 pounds(and my benchmark for weight estimates). I used it on some invasive privets this morning and they had no chance.It moves very nicely and with its light weight is a carry all day with ease item.

Sounds like a perfect weight for a sirupati of that length--1.3oz per inch.:)

I would love to see a pic of that Colt if you ever have the urge to photograph it:D

Not so fast Tsimi!

What you saw above was but a side effect of HIKV. The intense "curiosity" about sizes, styles and specs of khukuris that you and Uncle mistook for "research":barf: , is merely a hunger pang of HIKV. Its the way the disease feeds itself---I ask about others khuks, then I drool over the specs, then I MUST order one like it/better than it!!!HEE:D

As long as I don't start logging the information in nice leather bound journals, with captions that include time, date, who posted what, weather conditions....;) Hmmmmmm;)

It's a 2nd Generation,1980 vintage,piece,IMHO,the best looking,best handling revolver Colt made.Most fun out of any gun I've ever had.
There is a photo of it in the Dixie Gunworks 1998 Annual.Finish is a little worn now,but it has character.
