Tighe already has a deal with CRKT so you can rule him out.
Yep. It's sad too. Except for the Buy Tighe, CRKT doesn't use premium materials to construct Brian's knives the way ZT would if they were building knives based on his designs.Still, I might have to pick up a Nirk Tighe 2 at some point just because he's such a unique designer.
You forgot RJ Martin and Sinkevich....

Yeah, we ruled Brian out around Thursday lol
RJ Martin is an excellent knifemaker as well, hope to see more of his stuff trickling out in the future via ZT.
Man oh man... got my ZT 200.. and i am in love. I have held the 5X0 series, and to me, this is far and away better. Owning one now makes me even sadder to think they will be going away..
The only issue I found with the 0200 is a wicked hotspot around the flipper when in saber grip. Does it hit anyone else in the big knuckle of the index finger?

Well I guess it's a good thing I posted that on Thursday...
Sir Yes Sir Scurvy Sir![]()
YES! Finally a comment about that flipper. I've seen so many reviews, but nobody ever mentions it. It's the only ergonomic issue with it though... Everything else is a perfect fit for the hand. The only issue I found with the 0200 is a wicked hotspot around the flipper when in saber grip. The 200 @ 7.7 oz. IMO was a pocket brick..
Different strokes for different folks. I'm also in the pocket brick camp and ended up selling my 0200 because it was just way too big for me to carry. But if you're looking for a knife that exemplifies the "overbuilt" philosophy ZT has built its reputation on, you'd be hard-pressed to find a better one than the 0200 . . . aka Paul Bunyan's peanut.![]()
We're you able to sit up straight with that knife in your pocket? Or were you just happy to see her?![]()
Seriously, if I'm going to carry a knife as big and heavy as an 0200, it won't be a folder.
Good man! :thumbup:Haha.. a bit of both, but thats not for this forum.
IN my case, in both my work (folding pocket knives only) and personal life (i really don't care to carry a fixed blade on a sheath or anything else), a big pocket folder works very well. I get the utility of a strong fixed, while still being legal to carry at my work, etc.
