Next batch up to bat.

A dogwood (not shown), a soldier river, a green river, a gasconade, a boone's branch, a one shot and two prototypes.
This one has quite a bit of variety in it.

Worked off and on this weekend to make up for some unavoidable down time last week.

All of em' are ready for handles to commence.

I'm gonna try to finish up the machete/golok and the salt creeks from the last batch, too.

And a little sneak peak of a pet project coming down the line.

More progress:

These will lag behind a little since they aren't for order. Two are gifts and one is for me.:D

nice box - did you make it or repurpose it?
(either way is cool, just curious)

also - what's a model 1926?

Pretty sure he makes them, I think that he said that he was looking for somewhere to buy the box but that he could find what he wanted so he just made one or something to that effect.
As for the 1926 it is a Solider River (model 19) handle on a Green River (model 26) blade. Basically a GR without a pommel plate.

cool.
thanks - I wondered if that's what the 1926 was.

On the boxes, I've seen something similar wrapped around expensive booze before is why I wondered if it was repurposed.

Ridge is right about the 1926 and you're right about the box.
It's a wine roll made from birch. I didn't make it but I might make a few out of ash bark when peeling season rolls around just for fun. Time will be the limiting factor in that though.

Thanks for the nice words, guys. I appreciate it very much.
