What further knives do folks think Spyderco should bring out in CruCarta versions? (And as far as I’m concerned it doesn’t have to be Cruwear exactly, just any of the family of hi-alloy super tough steels with good edge-holding - i.e. 3V, 4V, V4e, etc - and micarta handles.)

For me, the Manix XL is crying out for it. Would be a workhorse like the original Manix, but an excellent slicer as well.

Also like to see the Amalgam in this format. And I’d love a full tang Street Bowie as well.

A micarta slabbed full tang Street Beat with in either 3V or 4V would be a dream come true. That’d be an amazing combination for me. I like the smaller 3.5” Street Beat more than I do the 5” Bowie, but I’d be content with either one to be honest.

I'm down for a crucarta manix xl as well. The xl really needs some more sprint/dist. Exclusive love any way.

And I'm waiting for a Military the most. For me personally, I want a dlc cru wear military with green micarta scales. Even if I could get the blade, I could at least get custom scales later.

I'd love to see the Military family in this configuration! If the aftermarket scale makers can manufacturer such nice micarta scales, Hopefully Spyderco does a run of each.

I'm also waiting for a Military with a tough high alloy blade, but I don't really care about the handles because I'm looking to swap it into the CF/Ti handles.

So far the interest in new CruCarta variants (in order of popularity) seems to be:
Manix 2 XL
Amalgam
Military
Street Bowie

I'd be interested in Manix2 XL in this configuration. I had the s90v - loved the knife, hated the peel ply carbon fiber scales; so it got sent away.

I love cru wear... it has really performed well for me. I'de like to see amalgam, kapara, pm2 and 3 with it.

I truly hope they continue offering cruwear and micarta together. Doesn't get any better.

I have the Para 3 (S90V) with the peel ply Carbon Fiber scales. As you noted ... not impressive. The scales, not the steel. The steel is great.

The Fluted Carbon Fiber scales on the Native 5 in S90V are badass. The Carbon Fiber scales on the Knife Center Manix 2 in CruWear are also very nice. We know Spyderco can do Carbon Fiber well, and hopefully they'll do more of that in the future.

I'd wait in line for a Para 3 in S90V with the Fluted Carbon Fiber scales. The only thing better than that would be a compression lock Native 5.

Think I'll just head on over to the Spyderco Custom Knife Builder webpage and build my own.
