Nice Dayhike Today in SoCal

There are so many places close to LA for hiking and camping. I've hiked and camped around Mt. Baldy including to the summit. Also in the Big Bear and San Jacinto area. Now that I live in Visalia, I feel so far from the good trails. I'm not really far just seems like it.:o
 
Hey Ray if i didnt know better i would say you were hiking the swetzer(sp) falls trails... I been hiking that trail as well today. Which means i should post a few pics lol.. I think we walked past each other. Something about your pup i can almost swear i seen your pup... As for me i were hiking with a large group but i were in the front of it. The guy with green BDU pants and white shirt.... I guess im going to work on my pics now.

That's funny that you and Ray may have passed on the trail. A few weeks ago I saw a guy hiking in the SM Mtns with a fixed blade knife and some lightweight backpacking gear. I stopped him and asked if his name was Sasha, but no luck!

DWK2 that would have been funny, If we would have meet like that. I just know i seen that dog on the hike. But i cant remember who was with that dog. Intresting what you pay attention to on the trail.

Beautiful area! nice knife, a real shame though that you feel that you have to use it in hiding..... society has gone downhill.......

I'd rather live where you do Ray, so much closer to the Sierra! :thumbup:
