These are not mine but I had a chance to play with them at one time or another.

JK Kephart in curly maple-This belongs to my buddy Brian Schappert, but I get to play with it, sometimes. Brian Schappert has done some very nice photos for the JK Handmade Knives website and some amazing photos for a couple articles I worked on.

That is a Bushcrafter Jr with Paduk and Osage Orange scales.

Show off....

j/k - Great looking blades and handles.

I'm a huge fan of those Fiddleback handles.

Brian takes some great pictures, and you do great reviews - Thanks!

Brians macro shot of his Kephart, in the options section for Lanyards, really shows his skill. I like his shot on your home page too. He is a funny guy but as I was saying, he thinks the Dinosaurs are going to be making a comback!

I think between DP, Fiddleback, and JK you can't find a better looking handle. D.Farmer uses some very cool exotic stuff too, I can't wait to get my hands on some of his.

always fantastic photos! I like the way ipe works out, but man, that tiger maple is SO sweet looking.

C Bryant and I were talking about IPE the other day and how cool and tough it is at the same time.

Yeah, I have a decent sized chunk of it I scored from work. I can't wait to do something with it.

If you are still poking your nose around here, Hello Matt! Good to see you here.

Great Post, I own a DP, JK's and a few ML's and each one of them have superior handles....still working on getting my first fiddleback :) I really like the look of your handles too Christof, but the two knives I have of yours don't have any! (still have to take them out, I'll get you my feedback I promise) So I can't say one way or the other....yet

How big? I haven't found a piece big enough for a hawk handle yet, but I've redone about half my shop hammers with it, in addition to the knives I do up with it. Really durable stuff.

Not quite that big, it was scrap from some 10ft planks of it. It's 10"x7"x1.5" I never thought of hammer handles.....really good idea.

I don't have any pictures of my one pretty knife! Lack of pictures is plaguing me recently... Guess I've got plans for the weekend.
