One reason I enjoy Bark Rivers is they have some really nice handle material from time to time:

These are a few of my favorites there are many more but these came to mind. Thanks Bear and CBryant for the the compliments on my handles on the DP's. Doug

Bear, I fear punishment if I don't get some pictures soon. And knowing this crowd, it will be very unpleasant!

Doug, that bocote Campmaster is very nice. However, that buffalo horn Companion is awesome. Looks great with the mosaic pins!

rocketbomb Thanks much larry917 was over and when I was doing the handles on the Companion he said it needed thin handles it is 3/16" thick and when I thinned them down I got that nice coloring. the bad part was it is only the one side with that in it. Oh well what can one do? Doug

Some great pictures and handle choices guys. Just about all my users are micarta, but I am going to go with wood on my next purchase.

Hey Christof, that Cocobolo looks REALLY nice- love the deep coloring and the grain still stands out.

Mike- the cocobolo is stock I got from one of our BF members. It's fantastic looking stuff, a bit showy for my regular style, of course. I'm working on more knives using it.
