Nice piece of shit. Thank you, Rick.

The blade looks centered and the grinds look even...

Assuming it's a legit RHK I'd contact the dealer you purchased it from and ask for a swap or refund. If it was bought 2nd hand, I would verify it isn't a knockoff and then shoot "Rick" an email.

RHK has amped up production so QC might take a hit. Lemons happen. The world still turns. Sucks it happened to you, but I'd go about it a little better then calling it a "piece of shit" and publicly shaming Rick.

Is the knife even assembled or is this a troll pic? Hard to tell with a Sasquatch nondescript picture. Either way I'm sure it would be resolved if it might have been politely brought to the makers attention.

IS it a Hinderer? ..,Can someone actually verify from this pic that it isn't some sort of knockoff/counterfeit? Not 'fanboying' here, it's a legit question...

Considering the op's questionable post history I think this is a very valid observation that needs clarification before any other serious discussion takes place.

Please, teach me something here. A poor post as we are all trying to learn.... what is the problem? minus the bashing ....

what is the problem?

1 - the poster did not tell us what the knife was or what the problem is, which leads to rampant speculation and the gnashing of teeth, and
2 - did not give "Rick" the opportunity to rectify it before squealing here.

Its just good form to give a maker/manufacturer at least one chance to correct a problem before complaining about it on a public forum. That's the same opportunity any of us would want if we messed up. Then, after the problem is resolved, tell us the whole story. "I was really bummed at first, but Rick paid for return shipping, fixed the knife in 5 days and now I'm happy." Or, "I sent it to Rick twice, and its still wrong." That's helpful to the forum members.

Just my view of the world. I've been steamed too, and I know its hard to bite your tongue until it gets resolved.

Too many unknown things to make a judgment call on the knife.

1. Is it a genuine Hinderer?
2. Was it disassembled/reassembled improperly?
3. Was it purchased used or preowned?

It's obvious that one scale is slightly offset from the other to accommodate a right-handed user/grip. Perhaps the OP didn't realize this was a right-hand only knife. :p

The part the confuses me most, and I can not seem to justify it is the fact that I sat here and read this entire thread.
Surely I have other things I could be doing?

Just check out the other poignant, wonderfully relevant and well written threads the OP has started.
It will go a long way to answering the questions raised.
Esav knew what was coming immediately!
