Full flat is better at slicing, maybe. It just depends on how sharp your knife is, as I can't really see a noticeable difference in Sabre or full flat. I baton all the time, and Sabre grind shines against Full Flat, imo. Not as much are touching the wood, therefore less friction. The less friction, the easier the splitting will be.

haven't had a problem slicing with any Becker, esp the BK10, BK5, BK4, and of course the neckers.

we even had a contest to slice an olice into as many pieces as possible. with a BK2.

5 more months to tweeners, give or take.

tweeners are almost guaranteed to not come with default micrata. it will be like with all Beckers, optional. you'll get nice grivory, and most people (other than us), won't notice. micarta will be an option. as per Toooj and other sources (see the many current tweener threads)

this is gets asked a lot for some reason. don't know why it's been in the FAQ/DB for ages don't you guys memorize this?
