OAL: 15.5"
Blade Length: 10.75" (nose to scales)
Steel: W2, differentially hardened (note hamon in pictures)
Handle: tapered tang, black micarta scales
Condition: Overall very good, used, some patina on blade as shown in pics

I had Nick Wheeler make me this chopper based on one of his early competition knives. I then sent it to Okuden to get one of his A-7T model sheaths made for it (~$80 sheath). Those who have handled an Okuden sheath know how fine the fit 'n finish on this unit is.

Here is what Nick had to say about this knife.
This was specifically NOT to be a fancy knife, but one that could be used as a serious chopping knife.

I broke a few blades on the way to coming up with this one, but I'm glad I did. This knife was very hard for me to put down, it's just fun to whack and chop at stuff with it. It's nice to make one that you know will get put to hard use.

Just for you guys thinking I'm a nut with a hammer, that texture is forged in with a die in my press...so it's very much on purpose!
