Nimravus review.

Great review as always Fonly....you have now got these knife test pics down to a fine art !!!!

Glad you are liking your new blade bro, I don't think you can ever go far wrong with a Benchmade !

I'd like to see how it handles abuse. Splitting wood for example. Jab it into the top of a log, turn upside down and hammer the hell out of it. I really like this knife, but I'd have to know it stands up to that type of abuse before I'd replace the kabar.

I got three of 'em so using one for abusive use is natural for me. I've hammered it into a 2" diameter branch using a 16oz. hammer with no problems. It is quite tough, but I still think an Entrek or Fallkniven would handle the job a little better (3lb. sledge maybe). After the Nim has proven itself as a field knife I'm using it primarily as a cutter and hammering for emergencies only.

Do you have them in M2? or 154cm. But I agree, if want a hard use knife this for me isnt the one. Thats what the BK7 is for:D

I'm still waiting for someone to send me a Nim Cub so I can send them some cash ;) I've resigned myself to growing old before this happens (((:D)))
