It is looking great UJ. I can see the high gloss polish finish on the surface of the whole blade

Yea, It really started to shine up after the 800 grit sandpaper...

Woah !!!! thanks man............

Honestly .... If anyone wants to send me small Busses to lightly refurb . I will do it for free ... I can use all the practice I can get and not to mention love working with infi.. :)

Hey UJ... Where are you getting bolts from and what kind?

I ordered the screws from Mcmaster Carr ...

Screws: 8/32" machine thread and 5/16" long - tool steel alloy
Tube/Spacer: threaded for 8/32" machine screws, 1/4" OD, 5/16-1/4" length - tool steel alloy

also snagged up a lot of grinding belts....

Thanks for the info. I have a couple Busse's that I want to makeover and am looking at where to find hardware like that. Have to pick up a cheap (but decent) belt sander also.

For sure .... Try McMaster Carr .. That is where i got my belt sander..

They sell different models starting at $300

The hand rubbed satin finish looks great!

I've always liked the look of the horizonal lines in a hand finish.
