NMFBM... the ultimate knife !

Does the same hold true for the NMSFNO and NMSFNO LE?

No, they are the same thickness on the NMSFNO and the NMSFNO LE. But I just went and measured mine, I'm betting they were from the same blanks but I think the LE where sanded a bit more to make it smoother so they are coming in more at a .24" and I think because of the coating on the .25" it's coming in a bit thicker at .26" But I measure it on a Easton Sandstorm NMSFNO, so not technically a production piece.

But you guys are all wrong, the NMFBM are over rated. Everyone that has one here because I feels so bad for you, I'll buy them from you for 70% of what you paid... just hit me up =) LOL :D

I would love to get myself one. Maybe Jerry will offer it again in a year or two...

It won't be offered again, it was a very limited run and there was a lot of work done by hand on them especially the LE's from what I read.

The NMFBM is the first Busse I ever used. I have to admit I have more safe queens than users. I have used the DF, SAR8, BATAC, and NMFBM. Between the four I cant think of another blade that I would ever need. The NMFBM would be the last I sell though! Its the bees knees man!

I'll be interested to see if Jerry comes up with something better than the NMFBM LE. That was near perfect. I'm not partial to knives that big myself, but the LE really glows in the dark.

I just bought a new one tonight, exactly the same color combo as the old one. I'm pretty pumped.

I finally have my grail coming. An NMFBM LE. I couldn't be happier. I might want to rename it "The Deforester".

I have three black paper on satin NMFBM's with full convex grinds to a zero edge, all of which come in at .26" thickness, right between the CG @ .25" and the LE @ .27".
