D-guards look cool but they get in the way when i feel like throwing, and that urge comes over me pretty regularly. one of these days some wisecrackin squirrel is gonna get clobbered but good! (prolly not, my aim is awful)

Well said...I guess this would mirror the question "If you could only have one knife to keep, what would it be?" This one is probably too large for that one knife, but it sure is sweet and fits the slot between the SFNO and FBM very nicely.

I got mine today. I take back what I said, it will make a fine choppper. It's thicker and heavier than I thought and I also realized it's full flat ground. Also, Beef made it razor sharp (sharpest Busse I've received to date), I'm in love ...with the knife, not Beef lol

I should say I have a heavy crush on it, my true love would be a satin, full flat ground, NMFBM (mmmmmm..... where's the daydreaming smiley?)

I started my busse addiction at the time the CABSLE was in production (my first busse). Since then I have drooled over those NMFBM's but just couldn't pull the trigger on purchase, waiting for the next Busse large fatty knife. The B10 LE is a great knife and it held my appetite for awhile, but the NMFSHLE is a different beast. It is heavy and fits my big paws just right. getting this direct from the shop makes it even sweeter. I may one day trade for an NMFBM, but the NMFSHLE is all I want for now. It feels hefty, strong and balanced in my hand.
