No Knives For Christmas

"A green economy".....The "Green" we have now does more damage than it does good, is not sustainable, and we don't have the infrastructure to support it. Way to drink the Kool-Aid.
This is not the place for it, but planting trees is sustainable, and a journey of a thousand miles begins with a step - many issues with electric and battery powered things, which is why a new step forward must be taken that gets rid of that battery-waste, a problem to be solved by American ingenuity, not given up on before it is off the ground in favor of doing things the flawed way they're done now...

Hence, the reason I stated "The green we have now".

Good job!

As to not gifting knives made with slave labor, you can always gift, for $30 or less, such classics as, the Buck 110 LW, Ontario RAT 2, Douk-Douk, K55 Mercator, Opinel no. 8, Higonokami, MAM, Mora, Victorinox, Cold Steel GRIK, Pocket Bushman or Tuff-Lite... all great knives, all made in free countries, all very affordable.
I don’t have a Cold Steel GRIK.

It is a very cool, odd-looking little knife that I would say is a pretty powerful, compact and light worker. It has a thick spine that, after the thumb indent, thins out quite a bit so piercing is easier. Utilizes that 3" blade area well, not much of a ricasso, which might be helpful for people who have laws about that kind of thing wanting to max their cutting edge or not snag.

Brings back integral plastic pocket clips, something I associate with old school Spyderco so no hotspots, no scratching stuff, which is an issue to some and it doesn't scream "pocket knife" the same way the typical metal clip does, for those who mind that. Very no-nonsense tool, I like it a lot!

No clips on mine at the moment.
