No love for Resi

Resi-C doesn't age with dignity and only comes in the color of car tires. It gives me the haptic perception of fried holothurian and even the most skilled photographers cannot make it look pretty. It is awesomely practical (weight, shock absorption, grip, etc.) but who would love something for its practicality?

It's a completely unpractical, tire-shredding, supercharged V8 that I love in cars - not the economic 1.6 liter hybrid. It's wool that I love for winter coats - not the laminated Supraloft TERE-GOX Pro Shell. And yes, my 2y-old daughter is very impractical indeed, but she has all my love - not so much the extremely practical plumber who thankfully fixed our water tap last weekend.

There's no love in my heart for the black rubber. Gimme Micarta, G10, wood or horn instead.

Who is with me?

But YOU ride a Harley so your taste is questionable to start with.... and the MIGHTY Res-C also comes in Tan thanks very much.... ;)

All hail Res-C I say..... :D

Your Harley-comment should buy me some support in this thread - even though it doesn't look good until now ;)
Good God. Have you had to remind me of the tan res-c? That's not only un-loveable but outright... what to say...
BEIGE RUBBER

You are a very skilled photographer which proves my point nicely :p

I love the Res!

In this context "Res" must stand for "Theresa". Anything else wouldn't make sense :D

Another fan of Resi! It just feels right in the hand :)

And while for some knives the micarta or black paper is very nice - I am not such a fan of the G10 - that is kind of like plastic to me....

But to each their own - Go Big Resi-C.!!!!

.

I find that Res-C gives me blisters on the bigger choppers, but I really like it on my smaller blades like the Howling Rat and Wardog (and hopefully ScrapMax too if/when it arrives).

Micarta and G-10, in all their awesomeness, will never have the shock absorbing comfort of Res-c. Long live Resiprene-c!

All I have that is Res-C is both of the Basic-4's, other than that all hail G-10/Micarta

I wish the battle rat type handle was an available option on all medium size and larger busses.
I love the res c!

I'm with you Al-Sheikh, I'm sure res-c is all that and a bag of chips, but rubber grips on a knife is not for me. I have almost pulled the trigger on a B4 but I just cant do it.

I know I really should. That is what I keep telling my self (give them a try) I better try harder;)

One like the brown res-c #12 of Andy's picture above, could probably get me to try!

ResC grips are awesome :)

And so far they have come in : Black, tan, muddy, green/grey, orange and purple. Did I forget any?
