Just saw the bk17 is no longer going to be made. Son of a gun, glade I have 1.

Yeah just went to look at that. I found a few for a somewhat reasonable price still and picked up two before they're outrageously priced.

Well then, this was unexpected. I thought that the BK17 was still selling pretty well. I wonder if this means we'll see new models of tweeners coming out eventually?

The 17 is my allround-goto-grail (ish) knife.

It's very sad that it is no longer produced. Have to get a second one asap!

Very disappointed. That just leaves the 16 which is a fine blade but I love clip points. Trying not to order another but hard to resist......

I wonder if prices will drop like the 15 did before they became scarce and skyrocketed. 17 is my favorite tweener.

I doubt it since Ka-Bars sold out. That means dealers didn't get them at discount more than likely.

They have probably tapered back production for a while on the 17. I always kinda wanted one to hang off my Ruger Blackhawk field rig. I think the 15 will work fine though.

that sucks. I gave one to my deployed cousin, and kept the one given to me at Uncle E's gathering a couple of years ago. Gotta let my cousin know to hold on tight to his blade.

Buy an extra 16 and clip it!
(straight clip, OF COURSE)
