You may have seen this one in "Sleepless" but here is a couple more shots of it.

The blade is what I call double mosaic and came out to 16" long with oal of nearly 21"
The guards, frame and bolsters are forged 416 stainless. Scales are Turkish Walnut checkered by Gary Goudy and all the engraving is by Jere Davidson.
One of the redeeming features of this knife is the large cross guard is able to fold down to fit into the scabbard. I hesitate to call this a "sheath" as its big enough for a carbine. The sheath is made of fiberglass that is hand fit perfectly to the knife and Claude Scott did his magic on covering it with leather. The top guard snaps over a steel pin in the sheath and unlatches easily with the thumb to remove the knife.

Thanks for looking

so glad to have seen this knife in person!

Love it all of course but that folding guard is much cool!

Can I ask if there is a purpose to the hole in the ricasso or is it just cosmetic?

Thanks for sharing Bruce.

Patrice the hole is for a forward attached lanyard. I had a lanyard on it there but it wouldnt go into the sheath so I tossed it.

"BRAVO" !!!!!!!

I wait now some photos which honour this knife... ;)

Bruce,

I'm not sure where to start; the steel, the engineering or the execution but you've done it again.:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

Thanks for sharing.

Gary

I don't mean to be that guy- but that guard says KLINGON! Haha, i'm saying this is a fantasy knife, I just remember watching those when I was a kid and the guards on their blades shot out.

Nice knife. I like the name because its completely out of the box. This is super creative of you, good work. Great steel.
