Very light use for Umnumzaan.

Ditched the lanyard today, found it hindered as often as it helped for removal from pocket(it would get caught in my flashlight's clip) and the tip of the blade was fraying it anyway.

Very nice! You must be an Auto Tech.

Sure. I was trying to get the scratches to show up better but they are hard to see at the right angle.

Most of the scratches are pretty uniform in their direction and I am not completely sure what caused them. I don't do any sort of crazy hard use with it. At work I mainly cut boxes, pvc pipe, wire and wood and food. Some times I cut into bags of gravel or sand too. The main problem for me was that it kept getting rust spots because I am around a lot of water/saltwater. I tried tuff glide and kept seeing them so then I changed to frog lube and haven't had a problem.

Does the Damascus become smooth after? Trying to decide whether I want to put my ladder Damascus Sebbie through some tough work.
