No ship policy -NEW YORK ??

Who at Cheaper than Dirt told you this?

I just went to their website and looked at a Spyderco Military. Theres a spot at the bottom of the page to enter your city and state, it will tell you if they can ship to you. I live in the suburbs of NYC, and it says "Yes...we can ship this to XXXXXXXXXX, NY".

I just tried some zip codes from Manhattan (the root of the problem here) as well as other boroughs for a Spyderco Military and they all came back that "Yes... we can ship to "

I haven't had any problems with dealers shipping knives to Illinois and there are no laws against it either like there are in NYC. Guns are a completely different topic and honestly shouldnt be compared to the issue with shipping knives.

Buy many auto knives?

A few. Zero issues. Mind sharing which dealers wont ship to you? BTW some dealers wont sell autos regardless of where you live unless you're a LEO, fireman, in the armed forces, etc.

Here is a example of one.

PLEASE NOTE : WE DO NOT SHIP TO NEW YORK OR ILLINOIS

I don't have time to find them all, rest assured there are some. I have seen some on Gunbroker that will not sell to Illinois residence.

Knife Right.org "cached" version. (highlights the search terms). I think it's the DA. Isn't that an appointed position which you can't vote on? Not sure on that? Click here to find lots of info. There's lot's of buttons you can click to join or just to donate a few bucks to help finance the cause. What a shame!

I just went to kniferights.org. Everybody on this forum should be a member!

yes I am on gunbrokers and yes I refuse to ship to both of those states. It is just not worth the trouble to do so. I lost a bunch of people that used to buy from me that live in new york state but I told them i didnt want to go to jail or get sued to death over a knife sale. alot of them told me the understand the picture that I am in.
