I will be throwing a sake drunk tonight. I will periodically report in to let you know how it's going. That is all.

ARRGH. I want the last 3 parts for my AR build to come in. I've only been waiting FOUR MONTHS. At least the entire thing cost me two short swords and 150 bucks...

I haven't been waiting long but I ordered a new manispring strut assembly for my Sig P220 (W. German) so I could put the newer slim grips on, but it won't get here in time to take the gun to the range this week. And I have so much .45 ammo...

check out these sheaths going around in a group on FB

Looks to be well made but ditch every other lashing point and just simplify the whole thing.

Found more of the same guys work on this pinterest page.. actually some pretty neat stuff on this page..

I like this holster set up, still looks a little busy for my taste, but pretty nice...

No thanks.

This applies to UPS too... they have missed friday delivery and left the package in front of the door on saturday (business is closed), I got a box with a 8 inch hole in it and nothing inside and they had put a couple pieces of tape over the hole.. nothing said about the $8000 worth of PCB's missing from the box.. they have delivered to the wrong place many times.. Fexex and UPS used to be the "gold standard" they are pretty lazy these days.. all that being said they are light years ahead of USPS in my opinion...

I can't remember the last time I had to sign for anything. I was waiting for a flatscreen TV and FedEx left it on my porch (I wonder what's in this flat-screen-tv shaped box???) and rang the bell but they were in the truck and driving off by the time I got to the door.

Life just gets better as you get older doesn’t it?
I was in a Starbucks Coffee recently when my stomach started rumbling and I realized that I desperately needed to fart.

The place was packed but the music was really loud so to get relief and reduce embarrassment I timed my farts to the beat of the music.

After a couple of songs I started to feel much better.

I finished my coffee and noticed that everyone was staring at me.
I suddenly remembered that I was listening to the music on my I-pod.

This is what happens when old people start using technology.

That's what you get for owning an Apple product... :D

Mostly just stopped eating fast food, stopped drinking pop, and paid more attention to what I DO eat. Most of my diet is protein,(Cheese and meat) and what carbs I take in (read that as simple carbs) I mitigate mostly with whole grain fiber, its gram for gram direct mitigation. I drink a TON of water, and I am pretty active. Keeping it off, with my shoulder surgery hampering my activity has been tough, but I have only gained back a pound or three. I will burn that off now that I can work out again to get my left arm back to normal. It really is about just portion control, and paying attention, added to keeping moving, and drinking water. Its been a slower ride than some of the other ways I have lost weight, but I am not having problems keeping it off this way.

I guess I should finally remove Oak Park from my location... I haven't lived there in a couple of years, even though Chicagoland will always be home.

Well, we're thinking of moving from downtown Toronto. Weird even thinking about it, but housing prices here are stupid. Semi-detached homes with no real front or back yard are going for $800, 000 in our neighbourhood. If they are less, they'll need renos. We have a friend that bought an $800, 000 home that needs $300, 000 in renos. Lived, worked and grown up here and now can't afford to buy a home. Kinda sad because these changes are killing the diversity that made this city so interesting. Unlike other cities with similar high priced real estate, Toronto does not have the wages/income to support this price inflation. These prices are based/driven by folks taking on more debt. Still, it's hard to leave a city you love.

Shit's getting real here. That is all for now.

Damn you trade. Looks like a great eve. That's a lovely tobacco. You might also enjoy Cornell & Diehl - Autumn Evening. No overt caramel, but some lovely maple syrup flavors. I really enjoy it in the winter.
