That bead blasting looks so easy it has tempted me into looking to a cabinet but I can't justify the expense for making my CG knives look pretty.
At the shop we call the bead blasting cabinet "the time machine". If you have any other hobbies like old cars (or in my case antique tractors) you can take a part that has looked like junk for fifty years and make it look as good as the day it came from the factory.
 
how long do you leave the Citristrip on for ?

Have an AMS Garth Edition that needs the gold finish stripped in the worst way. Will bead blast it after the paint is gone.

I leave it on for about a half hour. Tried leaving it on longer and it didn't seem to make much difference. With Tanker and Muddy the first application just seems to soften the surface enough to scratch it up with a wire brush. Once the surface is scratched, the next application does the job. It took the moss green off in one application.
