Lots of things taken care of....lots more to do.
One good ( if that word applies here) thing is that his best friend is a Funeral Director. Besides, cutting hair, bartending, and playing music at clubs, Chris worked at nights for him as a body pick-up/delivery person. It was the only time in his life he ever wore a suit. We have requested beach wear for the services, as Chris hated suits. I just spent the last hour+ with his friend making the arrangements. While there, one of Chris' other friends called and asked if Chris gets an employee discount....that is the kind of happy and fun loving guy he and his friends are.
The worst problem is going to be with my granddaughter, Zoey. She is 13 and a half, and was the one who couldn't wake her Dad up. She is really taking it hard ( as if anyone wouldn't!). There will be huge changes in her life, many she isn't going to like. Right now, I think she plans on staying in the apartment and raising unicorns for a living ( just joking, but you probably understand what I mean). Say a few extra prayers for Zoey, she is going to need them.
