And there is your first clue that you should have started running like a bat out of hell with his tail fur on fire. :D

It's actually a pretty cool part, just no one who's interested in doing a play since practice is two nights a week plus an entire week all at one (practice Sunday-Sunday in June). Thankfully old Pops said he could haul me or else the show wouldn't be able to go on. :D

In on one.

Still waiting to hear back on some jobs, the federal hiring process is stupidly slow. Something needs to be done about that. I have applied to three different listings for power plant trainees, training to work on hydro-electric dams, and have made it past the first round on all three. All of the positions (each listing has multiple openings, there's a total of like 25 or 30 openings across the three listings I put in fot.) are on the Columbia river, a few up in Washington state and most along the gorge where it forms the OR/WA state line. 5 of the slots are in the area I moved from when I left Oregon three years ago.

I'm also still waiting to hear back from TSA, but I'm thinking that if I don't get any of the dam jobs and I can get back on straight nights at my current job then I might stick it out where I am long enough to get totally debt-free before spending a lot of money to move someplace where the rent is almost double. That should only take two years, maybe less.

Two? Two? Who? Who?

Anybody ever hammock camped on the beach? I've got a few days off coming to me, and I feel the salt air calling my name, but have 0 experience hammock camping - much less in a treeless environment.

In on the one after last.

Gsom: yeah I got it. Second time my humor today went overhead.
Had a Sirius radio telemarketer call today and at one point she asked "so what do you and your wife like" ......... I said oooooohhh aren't you the cheeky one. That's a bit personal isn't it?" She responded with I'm sorry sir; I was just trying to inform you that we have plenty of options depending on your listening preferences.
Ahhhh whatever. It was funny in my head. Both times.

Well, they have Howard Stern, Spice, Playboy, and outQ so any response from her could have been legit lol. Not to mention every other ad is Ashley Madison...
I've had Serius for almost 10yrs and listen to Howard almost every morning. Awesome music stations too. Love it.

In on deuce. Just now finished supper. It was the last of the walleye I had in my freezer. Now they just need to get their spawn on and start moving back to where I can get to them, so I can stock back up.

Good luck getting one of the jobs you want Hoss.

Dropped off the pole I broke today to get fixed and found out that the guy guides fishing trips on the Red River here in ND. I think a friend of mine and I are going to book a day with him and try get some catfish. I know nothing about the river or catfish, so it will be cool to have someone show us the ropes.

Son of a gun!! I think I got a fake fishing reel off of the bay. I ordered an Okuma reel a bit over a week ago and didn't even check to see if they were faked. It showed up today and its heavier than advertised, the spool isn't colored right, the crank handle is attached differently, and it it's missing a cutout. I'm gonna have to contact Okuma tomorrow to make sure its fake, but its sure looking like it is. I've never filed an eBay/PayPal claim, so I hope its a smooth process.

My oldies used to do theatre pretty much every show that came out in the local um.. theatre when I was in high school. Occasionally I'd help out by doing back stage stuff like changing sets and helping with costumes and things of the sort. Was actually kinda fun. But MAN some of the people who used to do the acting were weird hey.

All the best with it Dawso. You'll do fine.

"To be, or not to.. um.. line!"

"Be. You idiot!"

In on two. something something something.

Good luck with the jobs Hoss!

AC that sucks about the rod!

It looks to be a nice day shaping up outside. I suddenly feel like I'm being overcome with the sickness....to stay home from work and play outside :D well one can dream. Time to get the day going!

In on two... It seems you guys are fast with the snark whenever I'm too busy to keep up. I still have several pages on the last one to read... :D

Yeah, it's pretty fun. I do a Missoula Childrens Theatre (look em up, it's a cool operation) play every year when they come to town, and I've done one before with this group but It was just singing (I got to sing Mississippi Squirrel Revival though :D). Usually I do a bit of the back stage work when I'm not on stage, seems they always holler for me when they want something lifted. :grumpy: :D And yes, lot's of the actors (including one or two in this play..) are really, really weird. They probably feel the same way about me. :D

Thanks Springy!

That last part isn't very comforting though. :p :D
