Reminds me of the time Dr. Wood accidentally roofied me with a Dogfishhead World Wide Stout. ABV wasn't on the bottle when she bought some interesting-looking singles.
 
Been working all day (per usual), and just got home to grab a bite to eat, then off to manage a yard for a few extra bucks.

My wife is taking our youngest to hang out with some friends at the beach. Oldest son is fishing somewhere, oldest daughter is likely still at Church, and youngest daughter is hunting.

All I want to do is shower then take a nap!

I was invited to a half hour segment on a radio show next Wednesday to talk about Hawaii agriculture, so I should probably prepare for that while I have a moment.

Truth be told I'll probably just take the nap instead!
 
I made a table for my new portaband, then used it to cut pipe and rebar so i could assemble these 2 "farmer carry" rails for a buddy.
They weigh about 90# each and he can add 2 or 3 plates to each end if he wants.

Yard is done. Yay! The 4Runner I finished the suspension, brake pads, new front axles, bearings, and ball joints on is now making a grinding noise (like a spoon scraping a metal plate) when the engine is running. Boo!

I am guessing maybe the flywheel rubbing a loose bolt (I hope) or something probably expensive. Ahhhhh....the joys of limping along an older truck.

Sometimes I wonder if it just time to sell off all my older trucks and bite the bullet on a new one. I hate having debt though, and new trucks are well north of $45,000.
 
Went over to Bass Pro for a free Bluefin seminar (just an hour long) by Steve Carson (the Encyclopedia of fishing knowledge). I took the new 2 wheeler, them things are addictive. :)

I was trying to schedule a springtime trip this year, but the 3 of us involved all came down with life complexity syndrome. So, I cancelled 3 spots in April for 2 in October.

Headed out freelance fishing from San Diego in the fall, 2 days onboard. I wanted to go for 1.5 days in April, but it is too soon, too much else going on.

Stretch of over 40 F-Word degrees coming, guess time to take the long way to work on the things called highways.
 
It's WARM here today!
Kinda diggin' it. Except I was overdressed.
6 hours of labs. Whew!
 
Not sure what it got up to today, but it's 67° now. Supposed to hit 70° tomorrow.
