Non smokers who carry lighters

Hi Everyone,

Any Non-smokers who carry lighters at all times for survival and edc reasons?

What lighter do you have on you?
 
I don't carry one on my, but I have a couple in each vehicle and many of them at home.
 
Ex-smoker. Still carry a lighter.

I still have lighters in my car, tackle box, and work bag too.
 
When I was in the army, I used to make my all my soldiers carry lighters, even if they didn't smoke. Everyone should have the means to make fire. Also, I sometimes forgot mine, so I could always bum off one of them.
 
I'm still a smoker :(, although I haven't had a cigarette since 1989.

I edc a mini-Bic in a Bic case (top right) and a mag bar (on my belt)

Red mini-bic. I don't always carry it though. I have a firesteel on my keychain with other survival items that I always have on me.
 
Usually do. I have the smallest butane lighter I could find locally, but I've noticed what looks like an even smaller one on goinggear that I plan to pick up. I also have a butane carabiner lighter. Not really much use as a carabiner and not the lightest of lighters, but it's great for carry options.

Edit: How many people are sick of being asking why they carry a lighter when they don't smoke? I know I am...
 
I don't smoke but I do carry a lighter, usually alternating between a bic mini and a zippo.

You just never know. Maybe it's a silly principle, but IMO everyone should have the means to make fire, as mentioned by someone else above. Same goes for a knife, flashlight, something to write with, and so on.

Same here!
Carry a zippo on me, and a bic everywhere else. Not to mention all the ones scattered all over the house, garage and barn..
 
Non smoker also.. I've always got a ronson jetlight, and one of the fancy bic lighters with flip open lid to keep from emptying it accidentally..

I also have a firesteel as well as my homemade rope lighter, that's part of my EDC..
 
Never smoked, but I'm never without a lighter. Usually a zippo w/a butane insert, but at the very least a bic if I'm traveling.
