I will try to come, even if just a drive-by. September is nuts, but I NEEEEEED to get north of MA before the time it used to snow.

Scratch that. I have another commitment that weekend. Bummer. :-(

I am in!

Any good fishing over there?

Jeremy

Water is pretty low this year.
I'll ask the hippie about other good local spots.

Sorry to hear maybe next year.

Dresnor, if you are willing to stop by in New Gloucester (I'm between 2 exits on the turnpike) on your way down, I'd be willing to donate a bottle of my mead for the cause, but only if you promise to hang on to it and share it with everyone around the fire.... :-)

That sounds like a plan! I am not much of a drinker but I'll try anything once!

What the heck is mead anyways?

Jeremy

Mead is fermented honey water. It's about the strength of wine (mine are usually 12-16% alcohol). Very wide variety of flavors.

It's also the oldest alcohol we know about, probably because it can occur in the wild (ie, if rainwater fills an abandoned beehive, and wild yeast hits it, it will ferment). Humans have been sharing mead around fires for many thousands of years. :-)

Check out my website in the link in my sig for more about mead if you are curious.

Bro, sorry about this one Trailbum, I am out. I will be home in Texas when this one comes around. Sorry bro, I know we talked a bunch about this one.

Sorry, Trailbum. Distance is good, but I'm already hosting an event on that same weekend or I'd be there.

sadly, i have other commitments at this time...

This is going to be the sleeper event. Seems like the small quiet one but I have a feeling its going to be a blowout!

Have fun guys!

So can we drive to this spot or is it a hike in type deal? Trying to plan my gear accordingly.

Also if anyone wants to check out any of the gear that you have seen in my posts let me know and I can bring it for you to check out.

Jeremy
