Northern California Trip PIC HEAVY!

What fabulous pictures! And a cute little garter snake to boot.
 
Fantastic pics. Quite a route you took. I grew up in Northern CA and have done a bunch of motorcycling/camping in those areas. I miss it. :(
 
My dad had to spend about five days out of the water due to some stitches above his eye got from a fight between him and the dredge. So this is the haul minus five days he would normally have been in the water.

I honestly only did about 30 minutes of panning while I was at the river with nothing to show for it. I usually get my sluice box going and and do a lot more, but I wanted to explore the area this time, and boy was it worth it!
 
I just panned for the first time in the Black Hills. Didnt know what I was doing or what creek to pan at. Found nothing.
