I pretty much talked myself out of the Bear Lake, until I saw some new ones available today. They all look terrific. Looking forward to the giraffe bone that's on the way.

I've been carrying mine now for a couple of days, and am very pleased with it. It's a practical size and shape, and pockets easily. A very useful tool.

Hi Jrawk,

I'm sorry to see the recurve as you pointed out in Bear Lake. Attached is my 2 samples which do not. Might be worth a try to get in touch with GEC for regrind? I had pretty good experience with them in the past. Their service was quick and professional.

I spent some time on the bench stones grinding out the recurve to 20 degrees per side. It is a laser beam now. Flushed with oil and now it's buttery smooth, but i think this pattern would be better served with a cam tang instead of a half-stop.
All that aside i am head-over-heals for this knife. Thanks KSF and GEC for a super cool pattern.

I'm a little late to the game - my Bear Lake had to be repaired. It came today, and IMO, it's the perfect day for it to arrive. Thanks KSF. Your customer service is second to none.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

I'm really impressed with this knife's ergonomics and F&F.

So very nice, 007hunter. I really like the coloring on that mammoth. I didn't think I'd like this pattern and boy was I wrong.

Have a great St. Patrick's Day!

Did anyone grab the new batch released yesterday?
Can’t wait till I check the mail on Saturday!
