Northwoods Forest Jack EO Mod

Does the notch work like a rear choil? Any pics in hand?

I am a big guy 6'3" with xxl clove size hands. So probably not the best comparison. But I just took this photo that might help answer your question.

Mike, you and I are similar in size. Hence the name Big Biscuit. ;) Although that's changing with my health situation.

do you have to disassemble knife to cut the EO notch. What tools do you use? a Fine round file? dremel at low speed then finish with sand paper on a dowel? I would like add an EO to a GEC 15 with a single sheepfoot. I have searched a number of threads on the site and have not came up with much.

I can explain it a little later when I get home.

"Mike, you and I are similar in size. Hence the name Big Biscuit". I'm about 1/2 that size (well, not quite). I could have chosen "Tiny Cracker" as a name ! which fits my personality rather well.

archertl I typed out a long how-to, but I think it best not to post here as it doesn't belong in this sub forum. It would get moved to maintenance and tinkering. Right Frank? ;) :D
The short answer is; no. Nothing gets disassembled.
Also, I was going to Pm you the info, but I can't do that either because of your membership level prevents you from sending and receiving PM's

You fellas might consider starting a "how-to" thread in Maintenance.
