I opted for light ebony. What a great looker! Reminds me of the fretboard of an old Gibson I used to have.

I've been out of pocket for a while. That's a great looking knife!!
Made me go over to KSF website where I was pretty badly shaken up by the number of new knives that have come out while I wasn't looking including that smooth ivory bone wharncliffe trapper on the 48 frame. Aaauuuccckkk!!! I must have one of each. ...Somehow...

Im kind of a guitar nut...having played for my vittles back in the day. These two LPS, 61 RI SG and two SG Standards, and a Gibson Songwriter Deluxe Studio....and thats just my Gibsons..

I picked one up, too. It's a stellar knife. I've been using it pretty heavily for the last four days (needs to be resharpened already) and I can't find anything I don't love about it.
Is that the light ebony?
I just placed an order for one. Very nice knife and perfect size - IMHO.

Man these things look so nice! Just to small for my hands unfortunately(I dont collect knives I wont use). Is this the typical size for this pattern? Put any thought into a jumbo 3 3/4 - 4 inch version?
